At the Indian Coffee House they still do not decorate the coffee by Anoop Negi
from Flickr http://flic.kr/p/hRxtBn The Indian Coffee House would be the oldest surviving coffee shop in India with a pan India presence. Their coffee comes in spartan cups with no design on top. While the Starbucks, Costas and the Cafe Coffee Day chains do provide you with design work to make your day interesting. Maybe the Coffee House suffers because of not getting to speed with interesting frill work such as this or maybe there is a general change in how you do business these days. If you want to see some immaculate design work done of hot coffee cups do have a look Shot on location at the Indian Coffee House in Mohan Singh Place in New Delhi for BBC GoodFood Anniversay issue of November 2013. I do not remember if this is in the actual display. The spartan coffee is presented without any frills and shot as such with just a sandwich to fill up the negative space.
